Mako Accounting is a small business itself, created to help people who dream of owning their own business make it a reality. Our goal is to make your life easier and help you keep track of every part of your business.

Mako was founded by Matthew Kornitzer, a business major from St. Petersburg College. Matthew has worked within his family's businesses for most of his life and started Mako Accounting to help other business owners who may have trouble handling the accounting side on their own.

Yes. Mako Accounting LLC works exclusively with QuickBooks Online to provide consistent, secure, and efficient accounting services. If you are already using QuickBooks, we will seamlessly integrate with your existing books. If you are new to QuickBooks, we will help you get set up and guide you through the onboarding process.

Can we work together remotely?

Yes. We work with clients virtually, so we can securely manage your books no matter where your business is located. Meetings can be held over the phone or by video conference whenever necessary.

Can you clean up my books if I'm behind?

Yes. Whether it is a few months or you haven't updated your books in years, we can organize your records, reconcile your accounts, and get your financials back on track.
